I am desperate, I would like to know how to play right online it is so much different playing against a friend or a family member. I really enjoy Nascar I ahve been a fan since 01 and started to play the games since 05 but never online until this year since I got my ps3. (I never could get my ps2 to work online). So if any one who is looking for a noob to help out or let join there clan please let me know.

:)Hi guy...........Jim here, and I know what you are going through, because I just kinda' finished my beginner's phase.
75, and just started racing on line, and would be happy to answer any questions, you have, and give you my inside views of what you have to go through to get started.
I can only race on line from 2am till 7pm so you can guess what type of racer I have to deal with, but have ran into a very few nice, understanding racers. Seems like they have their own agenda, like always hanging around on only one track that they have their cars set up for, and not racing on any other track types.
If they had to race on just any track they would get waxed, so they cling to their "own favorite track".......So you kinda have to avoid those types.
They aren't doing it for fun and pleasure, they just want to show how they can set up their car for only one track.
And they pick the tracks that all you have to do is push down on the pedal, and steer. Absolutely no skill involved at all.
Well, that will get you started on what to avoid, but believe it or not, the nicest racers are the kids between 9 and 14 or 15, or else they have very nice parents.

oh wow cool thanks alot for the advice. Maybe we will hook up online. sorry for taking so long to check back. I am in the service (so i really dont have time to check my post which i should). once i do have some down time i usually jump online (ps3) and play.
