Just got Nascar 09 PS3. Have Questions

I just bought the Nascar 09 PS3 game and i am looking for some help. I have a few questions and this seems like the place for the answer.

First, I have seen people talking on here of COT and Nextel cars. How do you pick a COT car from the menu? Do you have to unlock it first? Do you download it?

Secondly, I need serious help on setups for all the tracks.

bro the COT and Nextel cars are the same, you dont have to unlock anything!
