I’ll preface this by saying I HATE this track. Every NASCAR game has this track giving me issues. This setup is a little different and takes some getting used to, as you NEVER have to let off the gas or even THINK about braking. The camber, toe and sway bars let you carry enough speed through the corner to be bled off so you don’t end in the wall even with the gas down the whole time.
The key to using this setup is getting the dive into turns 1 and 3 down. Overdo it and you’re on the apron, underdo it and the wall is there. I’d advise a little underdoing it as with this weight distribution, letting off then popping the gas immediately will give you a bit more of a dive in the corner to get you through it. If you skid any in the middle of the turn, odds are you’re sliding up anyway, as it’ll be your front lift grip that lets go. If you don’t feel you’re getting enough responsiveness in the corner, drop the front toe to 1/8” and back the left rear track bar down to 9.25 or 9.00 to taste.
I’ll end saying this setup will be an acquired taste to get you by. From what I gather mid-28s is decent for this track, so let me know what y’all think. Many will hate this setup, but it got me through. On the other hand someone with the right touch can probably use this and decimate my mark, I suck at Atlanta.
