Ok...here it is. Dega should need a little tweaken, but here goes on main set up, change the slide bars to Gearing Full Right -------> Handling full left <--------- Downforce Full left <------- Suspension Full right ------> The set FL Fender flare 0 Grill tape 80% Spolier 55* FR Fender flare 0 Tires FL 30.0 psi Camber 8.0* Caster 3.0* RL 30.0 psi Camber 1.8* RF 39.5 psi Camber -0.5* Caster 3.0* RR 38.5 psi Camber 0.0* Wedge 53% Front bias 50.0% Left bias 47% Rear gear 3.50:1 1st 7.39 2nd 5.17 3rd 4.08 4th 3.06 Sterring 1.5 Steering lock 5.0 This is a very compfortable setup and seems fast. I have raced it on line yet. Please advise me what you think and if you don't like it, go pound sand and post your chit. I tried this online worked OK but once your out of the draft your done

Jim add me Vodkazilla and i will share a setup for dega. I run in the range of 48.6 to 48.8. Its cool to see some of the old names from the 05. Just hit me up and ill load it in the locker and you can give it a try.

I've hit, 48.6 as my quickest time. I haven't figured out what to adjust yet to get it a tad bit faster. I did like your previous setup you posted

I've hit, 48.6 as my quickest time. I haven't figured out what to adjust yet to get it a tad bit faster. I did like your previous setup you posted My son's on Halo now but it basically is this on main setup section, Gearing full right -----> Handling full left <----- Downforce <------ Suspension about 3/4 to right Then put all weight to rear and 46% to the left, wedge all the way right. bump the left side tires to 40 psi. Throw these gears and steering and you got a fast hotrod. Rear gear 3.40:1 1st 7.39 2nd 5.17 3rd 4.08 4th 3.06 (Default setting in 4th if this is not correct) Sterring 1.5 Steering lock 5.0 This setup is totally not the way a real car would be setup. Caster is not even close to correct along with tire psi. But it's fast. Again, this is off memory as my son is on Halo

I'm running 48.7 to 48.9 without draft on Talladega, but I'm getting confused about which times in this thread go with what track. I'm going to go ahead and open up a Talladega specific thread. I hope that's ok with the mods. Here is my new Tallaedga thread:
[ftp]http://nascarea.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=nascar08&action=display&n=1&thread=1186625206
[/ftp]
I haven't spent too much time with my daytona setup, but if someone has (like Jim), I'd suggest them starting a Daytona specific thread too. If not, I will when I get some decent 'tona times going

I can run 47.266 at Daytona by myself in qual trim and I havent met anyone online who can pass me without me making a mistake. I've read what you guys have been saying. If you think 2005 was "realistic" you know absolutely nothing about racing. If you want to add me online my gamertag is BabaGahNush, the same name I posted with on here.
BTW... ur never gonna get the thing to run how you want using those sliders. You have to know what you're doing.
