This game and its adjustments are just far to frustrating. I did 2 hours of adjustments and couldn't go faster then the default setups. I miss the old days of 05-07

daytona cot setup:
Spoiler 0 splitter 4.00 front right ride height 5.250 gear ratio 3.00 third gear 1.14 fourth gear 1.00
grill tape 100% no damage races
i run 48.0's to 48.1's with this setup. You can also use this setup for the Nextel Car and I run 47.2's to 47.3's. Very competitive. i also have a steering wheel so that helps my time ALOT.

the one who has the splitter at 4.00 the car has no down force in the turns for race that setup is good for 3 to 5 laps before the car slides up the track becareful on that cause of the draft.

It's funny when you actually expect people to believe you. The fastest time ever for Nextel at Dega in Qualifying is the 47.833 that the other guy posted, his name is TCHDWNUGA if you get on live. There are a lot of the respectable guys on live that were in the rooms when he ran these times so they will back us up. As for COT at Dega, the fastest i have ever heard of was a 48.866, i don't recall who ran that but i happened to be in that race also. If you were going to lie about what you run at least make it believable, 47.2s at Dega by yourself...LOL!!!

I can't get under 48.266 by myself, but I'm plenty fast come race time. My name is my gamertag and I'll give you it through a session on Xbox Live. I'd do it on here, but it takes too long to transfer.

Ok guys im new to this stuff just found this site today so if u don't understand im sorry, if u don't understand add me daja vu22 and ill try and explain better. Ok i have a setup for dega that works great for tona as well, i don't know what i run at daytona but i can run a 49.100 with no draft with my cot and i can run a 48.661 with my cup car with no draft. Here is my setup
gearing middle handling 3 to right downforce far left suspension far right
tape 100%for qualifying 85% for race rear spoiler 55
bumb LF 8 RF 8 rebound LR 1 RR 4
spring 2000 2200
ride height everything high
track bar 9.875 11.000
front sway bar 1 1/2 rear sway bar 1/2
front toe 13/32 rear toe 3/32
camber LF 5.8 RF 3.2 LR 1.8 RR -1.8
caster 5.0 3.0
tire LF 33 RF 48 LR 33 RR 47
gearing differential ratio 3.33 1st 2.27 2nd 1.59 3rd 1.20 4th .88
brake 90% 90%
steering trim 3.8 steering lock 5.0
ok guys good luck with that hope it works. And one more thing i like my car loose so it might take a little to get use too. If at first your not running good times work on your line u make a lot of time by being smooth. go down into the turn stay smooth at the bottom come out to the wall try not to hit lol. try not to turn it to hard coming out of turn if the car jerks to the left at the end of turn then your turning a little hard.
good luck ;D
